Technology – Types of Stainless Steel Safety Window Cable Mesh

There are two main types of stainless steel rope mesh used as safety window cable mesh.

Knotted cable mesh is a plain weave mesh where each warp wire rope crosses alternately above and below each weft wire rope. Warp and weft cables generally have the same diameter. The combination is inter-woven.
Ferrule cable mesh has the same physical properties as knotted mesh, but the cables are connected by stainless steel ferrules. This creates very neat diamond openings and is widely used in architectural projects.
